Dalmatian - Rest In Peace Sweet Pepper - Medium - Adult - Female
This pretty sweet girl we rescued from the Castaic shelter finally lost her battle with the numerous health issues she'd been fighting since we rescued her November xxxx. Beyond her continual GI problems, in recent weeks she started having frequent nose bleeds. The vet suggested steroids which gave her some relief for a few days, but Pepper's neurological symptoms progressed to mobility difficulties and finally, Pepper was unable to stand or walk. She no longer seemed to be with us, mentally and the vet thought she was in pain so she was gently put to sleep, while being held by her foster mom. So very sad. Pepper was such a vibrant happy girl, always smiling, always ready to go for a walk. She loved her life, she loved her foster mom and the pups she lived with. In her last few days she spent many hours with her friend Biscuit, sharing her bed and cuddling close. While her time with us was far too short, I'm so very glad we were able to take Pepper in and give her some quality time and lots of love. She deserved so much more ... I like to think she's happy now, running and playing with her friends .. finally free from her pain ... We will so miss you. Rest in Peace sweet girl.
